A dog that finishes dinner in twenty seconds has done nothing with its day. Puzzle feeding is the cheapest enrichment there is: it slows eating, reduces bloat risk, and gives a bored dog a job.
How it works
Four stacked layers rotate independently. Kibble drops between levels as your dog noses them around, so the food keeps moving and the puzzle never solves the same way twice.
- Adjustable difficulty — use fewer layers for a beginner, all four once they have the idea.
- Slows fast eaters — typically stretches a meal from seconds to several minutes.
- Detachable for cleaning — comes apart fully; no trapped food in corners you cannot reach.
Getting started
Make it easy the first few times. If a dog fails at a puzzle repeatedly it will walk away and not come back to it. Start with one layer and plenty of visible kibble, then build up.
Supervision
This is a feeder, not a chew toy. A determined chewer should be supervised, and any piece that gets cracked should be replaced.
