Fast eating is not just a bad habit. Gulping food brings air down with it, which causes bloating and, in deep-chested breeds, can contribute to a genuinely dangerous twist of the stomach. A maze bowl is the simplest fix.

What to expect
Most dogs take three to five times longer to finish. Some work it out faster than others; if yours clears it quickly, a deeper maze or a puzzle feeder is the next step up.
Suitable for
Dry kibble and wet food both work. Wide enough for medium and large breeds, shallow enough that flat-faced dogs can still reach the bottom.
