This policy explains what information Bella Pets collects when you use shopbellapets.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Order information: your name, email, shipping address, phone number and order contents.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account information: if you create an account, your email and password (stored encrypted).
- Usage information: pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, collected through cookies and analytics.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your order, to email you order updates, to answer support requests, to detect fraud, and to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary to fulfill your order: your shipping details go to our supplier and shipping partners, your payment details go to our payment processor, and your email goes to our email provider for order notifications. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you logged in, and measure site traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will not work correctly without them.
Marketing email
We only send marketing email to people who opt in, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. Order confirmations and shipping notices are transactional and are sent regardless.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@shopbellapets.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection and payment data is handled by a PCI-compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
